I have a mains charger thing with a USB slot and you plug the USB cable into it and the other end into your iPod and it charges it. Or just plug it in to the USB ports on your computer/laptop.
An iPod Nano is sold with a charger that can be plugged into a port of any powered-up computer. One can also buy iPod Nano chargers separately; most can plug into either electrical sockets or a car's cigarette lighter attachment.
place the ipod into the dock and plug the cord into the wall and the back of the dock.
