You can't. It's a security thing
By driving with the key fob in the ignition.
1. Take the key fob, and flip it over, so the buttons are facing down. 2. On the back, there is a slide switch that allows you to remove the metal key. Slide the switch and remove (pull out) the metal key. 3. Where you removed the key, look at the end, and you will see a small slot. Insert a small paper clip or screwdriver edge to open the fob. 4. Replace the battery is there.
It indicates the battery life left in your key fob battery.
Mine on my 2007 Infiniti G35 takes Panasonic CR 2032 3 volt. It's round shaped.

You do not have to reset the key fob when changing the battery.

A key fob is for instance a mini card on your keyring, for instance I have a tesco's clubcard key fob on my keyring therefore when I put petrol in my car and pay at the checkout instead of finding my clubcard I get my key fob!
