Remove the battery, and disconnect the negative terminal first. If you have a battery charger you connect the terminals to the appropriate wires, the red wire is for the plus terminal and the black or blue on for the negative terminal. Adjust the voltage to 12 volts on the charger. It can take up to several hours to charge the battery or even overnight. Remove the plugs from the battery cells and fill up to the correct level with battery fluid or distilled water. Don't use tap water. When the battery is fully charged as shown by the meter on the charger, you can re-insert the plugs for the cells and then reinstall it in the bike. In case you don't have a battery charger, you can ask any battery service shop to charge it for you. They will do this for a small amount.
Remove the seat. You will find the battery under it. Remove the negative terminal first, then the positive terminal.
