how to remove a Mercedes e240 starter motor and which tools
You will need a reset tool to reset the service indicator on the Mercedes e240. You will reset the indicator by using the buttons on the dash.
Turn trip reset button on cluster clockwise if that dont work check settings in cluster
The power steering fluid is ATF fluid on BMWs and you can check it from the cap in front of the engine that says ATF fluid only. Take the cap off and on the bottom of the cap you will see a stick, check it there.
Add ATF through the transmission dipstick tube. Check the ATF level with engine running and the transmission in park. Check level often as you add fluid with the dipstick until it reaches the "full cold" mark. Type of ATF you should use is written on the dipstick.
you have to remove the bumper
If your intrepid has an automatic transmission (which I am assuming it does), type ATF+3 is recommended. ATF+3 has been upgraded to ATF+4, which is also recommended. I would check your vehicle owner's manual to verify.
It is typically okay to use synthetic ATF to top off a transmission originally filled with conventional ATF, or to replace conventional ATF in a transmission. However, you should always check with the manufacturer of the synthetic ATF you want to use if it is compatible with conventional fluids, and if it meets the requirements for your application.
No check , Just drain and add 2.83 qt. ATF in the speedo hole !
