You cannot check oil levels in automatic gear box as it is a sealed unit. I took my car to automatic gearbox garage and they changed the oil and resealed the gearbox for a very reasonable cost. Remember the gear oil itself is very expensive.
How do you check the transmission oil level on a BF XR6 5 speed automatic gearbox
Check engine oil when you have just finished driving. Check Transmission fluid when the car is running and the transmission in in N (manual) or P (automatic).
You add fluid the same place you check the fluid level.
No, No absolutely not. Automatic transmission fluid is not the same thing as gearbox oil.
There is an automatic transmission dipstick in the engine compartment. The dipstick will have a yellow handle. Check the transmission fluid the same way you would check the motor oil.
Its commonly called fluid not oil and if its a manual there isn't a place to check, if its automatic theres a dipstick
It is an automatic transmission fluid. It is an automatic transmission fluid.
Transmission hot, car on a level spot, selector in park.
