The exact location of the compression release mechanism in a 17hp Briggs and Stratton engine can vary depending on the specific model and design of the engine. Typically, the compression release mechanism is located near the camshaft or valve train assembly of the engine. It may involve additional components such as springs, levers, or pins that interact with the exhaust valve to temporarily release compression during the starting process.
It is a part of the camshaft.
Muscle compression is a deep massaging of the muscle. It is pushing and compressing the muscle to release the tension that has built up in the muscles.
is the de compressor control cable mechanism still operating properly? if so carefully ease the piston towards top dead centr on compression by means of slowly exerting pressure on the kickstart pedal until resistance is felt, then release kick start pedal, check petrol on and choke on if needed and give the kickstart a "mighty" swing whilst using a little throttle worked for me! yes the decompressor control cable is working properly. so do i push kickstart until compression, then pull decomp lever until over resistance, then choke and throttle and kick hard?
The Cylinder head could be damaged or a ring out of place, causing the release of air, making less compression
