You check it with the oil dipstick
I installed a rebuild engine 2.4 on my 98 nissan frontier , but it wont start. How can I check if the oil pump and the distributor are markings a correct.
There is no change oil light on a 98 sentra. The light you are seeing is a low oil pressure light. check your oil if its good then the oil pressure sensor is bad.
That light notifies you that one of the gauges is out of its normal parameter. Check the temp (overheating), the voltage (not charging) and the oil pressure gauge (low or no oil pressure).
Check oil pressure with a manual gauge. Could just be a bad oil sending unit or low oil presssure due to internal engine wear
If the oil level is fine, your oil level sensor or the sensor wiring is malfunctioning. Same for the ABS system. Check ABS fuses.
You do not take it to the shop. It does not have a dipstick I is considered sealed for life
it should be between two holes like engine oil level
5W-30 in most areas, but check your drivers manual for the climate you live in.
seaside oil
Oil level is low, add oil.
It reads the oil pressure
It's printed on the intake manifold, just above the ignition coils.
