There is a sight glass on the side of the motor. On that model it should be on the left side. You need to look between the tire and the frame to find it. They are typically covered in mud so it is easier to find the oil filter which is a round cover with 3 acorn nuts around it. The sight glass is to the front and a little lower than that housing.
Hold the bike level and check the coolant bottle behind the lower left fairing.
There is a small glass "eye" on the right side of the motor at the bottom to check your level. I'm just wondering where the level should be on the glass
There is a glass oil level just to the front of the r/h rear wheel, should be able to see oil level there.
Transmission Fault: Gear 3 incorrect Ratio Check your transmission fluid level.
The gearbox and engine are one unit so therefore share the same oil.
On the right side of your cases (down around where the rear brake pedal is) there will be a window. Be sure to check it before you start your bike up, your oil level should be close to the center of that window when sitting level (not leaning on the kickstand).
Depends on the year. Mine is an 88 and there is a little circular window on the bottom right side of the engine. It has two sets of has marks indicating the oil level. Hope this helps
There is a sight window on the engine case on the lowest part of the side of the engine below the oil fill cap. You have to get a friend to hold the bike as level as possible or you have to prop it with something to level it. Then check the sight window and look at the range lines on the left side of it.
I've had a katana and a gsxr750 and you always check the level while the bike is straight up.... when its on the kickstand you'll get an inaccurate reading since its tilted
there will be a bolt on the right side by the water pump. take that bolt out and drain then fill it up till oil comes out the bolt..
There is no dipstick on the year & model mentioned. There is a oil level site glass which makes it very hard to check oil with only one person.
how low does oil level have to be before oil light activates on a Suzuki 70 horsepower outboard motor
