there is a site glass on right side of engine about mid ways of brake petal Where should the oil leve be in the site glass when the oil level is full?
My vn1500 had a round sight glass on the lower right side of the engine. The bike should be sitting up straight (get a friend to hold the bike to be safe). The oil level is correct if it covers half the glass.
It takes two people, at least on my 2005 1500 vulcan classic. There is a window on the bottom right side of the engine. Hold the bike level and look through the sight glass.
There is a site glass on the right rear of the transaxle below the muffler.
Yes
Motorcycle engines have a site glass located on the side of the engines. The oil should run between 1/2 to 3/4 covering it. Some also have a dipstick to check the oil level with.
There should be a sight glass on the left lower side of the motor. The oil should be visable in the glass.
There is a small glass "eye" on the right side of the motor at the bottom to check your level. I'm just wondering where the level should be on the glass
between 3 and 4 quarts.
No on the bottom of the right side of the engine there is a glass lens to view the amount of oil
One should not bend the wiper arms so as to contact all of the glass. Check for proper blade mounting instead. This will contact all of the glass.
if you have a 1000 there is no dipstich. only a sight glass to the rear of the right rear axle
there should be a sight glass on the right side of the motor
