being that fuel pump is in the gas tank I would remove the fuel line at the filter then turn on ignition being that fuel pump is in the gas tank I would remove the fuel line at the filter then turn on ignition
fuel tank.
Some vehicles are not equipped with a fuel cutoff switch. A 2000 GMC Jimmy is an example of a vehicle that does have a fuel cutoff switch.
Yes.
Check for antitheft system preventing fuel pump operation (look for bad lock cylinder) or insufficient fuel pulse as from improper ECT voltage.
I'm not sure about all Jimmy's, but my fathers 1994 was in the fuel tank. We had to drop the fuel tank, and the fuel pump is inside on the float bar... Really a pain
Built into the fuel pump
No you have to drop the tank.
need to replace the fuel regulator in my 2000 gmc jimmy, needing a diagram of motor can you help? thanks
Located in the fuel tank- may have to be removed for access
Check for fuel, do you here a hum from the fuel tank, and check for spark.
First check for fuel, spray a little starting fluid into the air intake and and try to start it, see if there is any response. If it runs breifly, it is probably the fuel pump at fault.
i have no i deer sorry....
