After you have driven the car and the transmission is hot, pull the dipstick out that says "Trans Fluid". It will be longer than the dipstick for the engine oil. You read it the same way as the oil dipstick using the holes at the bottom as level indicators.
A 1995 Buick LeSabre takes 7.4 quarts of transmission fluid. Dextron lll transmission fluid is recommended for use in the Buick LeSabre.
