You can't. It is a closed system and per the Minneapolis Jaguar dealer, you do not change the fluid or filter ever. I do not believe this and now at 120k on my 2002 S Type 3.0L, my transmission is slipping. I am having the pan dropped and new fluid put in to see if it solves the slipping issue.
how do you check transmission fluids
Checking the transmission fluid is an important part of owning a car. A person pulls out the dipstick while the car is warm, wipes it off, dips it into the car and looks at the level of the fluid on the stick.
how do you check transmission leval on a 03 Chevy impala
with a dipstick
from the bottom
You add fluid at the same place you check it.
A slipping transmission on a 2002 Mitsubishi can be caused by low fluid levels. Check the fluid should be the first step in troubleshooting the issue.
check it while its on and in park
the jaguar gearbox is sealed for life.so you have bigger problems, unless you have had a leak
You add fluid at the same place you check the fluid level. Takes a special funnel. If there is no place to check the level, then it is a sealed for life transmission.
There is a fluid check/fill plug located on the front of the transmission. Add fluid there until it is level with the bottom of the hole.?æ
