Try to find a hamster that is in good health. Its eyes should be bright and its fur smooth. Check for bald spots or eye/ear infections. If you are allowed, ask to hold the hamster. You will be able to look at it more closely and see how it behaves. It is not wise to buy a hamster that bites because once it knows it can, it is extremely hard to get it to stop. Once you have found a hamster that is cute, in good health, and behaves well, its time to take it home! :)
Julie is a Great name for a Hamster as I myself named a Hamster named Julie and she was an excellent hamster! In my opinion i would name the Hamster Julie.
Hamster because mice stink and hamster like to play more than mice. If you want a playful pet choose hamster an if you want a pet that will just sit around in the cage then the mouse is for you!
If its a dwarf hamster, you can choose if you want the male to stay. If its a syrian hamster you can give the male away.
the male hamster will choose one female hamster and the left one will die
It depends on what they do and waht type they are. But I would choose Both
A hamster's real name is technically its species name, which is "Mesocricetus auratus" for the most common pet hamster species, the Syrian hamster. On a more informal level, hamster owners may choose to give their pet a unique name or nickname based on their characteristics or personality.
any fight a hamster gets in is serious, if they choose to fight they will do so the death, you put them in separate cages immediately, all Syrian hamsters fight, its uncommon for others to do so
There is lots like, Syrian, Chinese dwarf hamster, Campbells dwarf hamster, Robo dwarf hamster, Russian hamster. My favorite, is the blueberry campbells dwarf hamster and the Syrian hamster. They are the sweetest and easy to hold. NOT THE ROBO"S!!!

Most pet shops have good quality pet bedding. I would not recommend using fresh wood shavings or sawdust as they can be dusty and dangerous for your hamster. You can get it from blowoutbedding.com ,here a collection of bedding available where you can choose your choice bedding.
