How do you choose religion for child if the father is Muslim and mom is Christian?

The Muslim man is allowed to marry a Christian woman under conditions: she must be chaste & pious, she should allow him to practice Islam freely & raise his kids as Muslims.
The same conditions are required if the woman is Jew.
So according to Islam the child has to be raised on Islam.
