how do you get to the carborator and then whats the process to clean it.
22mm is the float height for this carb
its in the front of your carb. underneath the intake manifold.

I assume it has carb's. If so, follow the cable to the carb's. There is a little screw you can tighten to increase the idle or lower it. Just a long screwdriver and watch the tach.

Soak the carb in fuel overnight and wipe it clean. Put it back together and fire it up.
your float is stuck in the carburetor. Clean it with carb cleaner.
Remove the carb and take the bowl off the bottom. Remove the jets and soak in carb cleaner. Make sure you can see daylight through them.
If its bogging out at low revs it is most likely a clogged up idle jet, you need to take apart the carburetor and clean out the idle jet but while your at it you might aswell clean the whole carb. search on youtube 'how to clean a motorycle carb' and it should give you step by step instructions. As a temporary fix spraying CarbCleaner into the petrol intake of the carb may fix it but your better off giving the whole carb a good clean.
Carb cleaner doesn't really clean anything when you spray it down the throat of the carburater. The parts that need cleaning are the jets and internal lines. The only way to truly clean those parts is to remove the carbuater, disassemble it and clean the parts. Some carb cleaners can make a little difference if you run them through the tank, but spraying down the throat only gets a little surface carbon off, if that. -------------------------- The main reason to spray OTMAN carb cleaner at a carb while the bike is running to check for a vacuum leak. If you hear any change in the engine noise when you spray carb cleaner at the joint between the carb and the head, then you've got a vacuum leak. Get a new carb-to-head gasket.
The pilot jet is clogged, get a new one or clean it very well, add fresh gas and go...but you might need to clean the carb some.
