The mass air flow sensor on an 02 lancer is located in the intake pipe, directly behind the air filter box. To get to it, you need to take out the air filter, undo some hose clamps, and some screw securing the sensor to the filter box. It's a bit tricky, and you'll need some pliers to hold the bolt ends that are inside the filter box. Only clean the sensor with mass airflow sensor cleaner!!!

Your car is dieseling. Air is still entering the engine even though you shut it off. Check the Idle Air Control. There might be some sort of deposits which is not allowing the Idle Air Control to fully close. Remove and check to see if it's clean. If not, you'll have to clean it of the carbon deposits.
