the esiest way to clean beeswax is to boil it in water and a little vinegarfor about a half hour. the wax melts and all the impurities fall ti the bottom of the pot, like rendering fat. allow thw wax to set on the water. When set, pour out the water, add fresh and start again...just to makke sure it is super clean and no bee parts are trapped in the wax. again, let it set, separate it from the water and melt it slowly for moulding. easy.
There are many beeswax based polishes out there for this purpose,it will lift the grime and filth from the beeswax finish while replacing the old beeswax at the same time, allow to harden then polish to a shine.

Pure beeswax is healthy. Beeswax produces negative ions that actually clean your air of odors, pollens, smoke, dust, dust mites, viruses and other allergens and hazards - the only known fuel to do so. As does a rainstorm, beeswax candles leave your air fresher and cleaner - they are a true air purifier.
