Italy 925 is a sterling silver fine jewelry metal content. 925 means 92.5% pure silver.
To clean your jewelry a mixture of half Mr. Clean and water with a small amount of ammonia can be used. Soak for 15 seconds then rinse with water and dry.
To remove tarnish from sterling silver jewelry a paste can be made by mixing baking soda and water. Rub the paste on the jewelry then rinse with water and dry.
I have attached a link to an article which has more detailed information about cleaning your jewelry.
It means it is genuine sterling silver made in Italy
925 is a marking for sterling silver , Italy is where it is from and ITAOR Is the designer of the jewelry .
That means that it real sterling silver; the jewelry consists of 92.5 % pure silver and the rest is a type of alloy, usually copper. 925 is a mark to indicate purity of the silver.
The 925 or .925 is the marking that indicates your jewelry is at least 92.5% sterling silver. If it were to say 10k or .925/18k it would indicate that the metal is either 10 karats gold, or sterling silver with 18 karats plated gold.. The H is the manufacturer's signature to ensure the customer can trust where the markings and jewelry has come from.
I bought a cheap cz ring from walmart (20 dollars) that has 925 dl in oval and cz 925 is the marking for real silver, it will say sterling or 925 if it is real silver the DLCZ means Diamond Like Carbon, So you have a piece of jewelery that is real silver but fake diamonds...:) The CZ stands for Cubic Zirconia which is basically a man made fake diamond.

Jewelry is called "smycken".
Jewelry is Schmuck in German.
I have seen a few rings stamped 925 PT, these are sterling silver coated with Platinum to retard tarnish, I would think that a 925 PC mark would be the same. If the item is stamped only 'PC' or 'PCV' with no numeric purity, karat or Sterling marks, I'd say that the letters are a makers/manufacturers identity mark.
