Best Answer

You may use bleach with polyester. However, a better way would be to soak it overnight in water that has 1/2 cup of automatic dishwasher soap in it. Wash as usual, but use white vinegar in the rinse.

I would try "Lestoil" on the stain it works on a lot of things. pour some on the spot and let sit for awhile. scrub with a toothbrush/q-tip/cotton ball lightly to penetrate the liquid. it works on a lot of stains. if you cant find Lestoil in your area you can get it on the Web. There are many links on Google.com to get it. hopefully this works. good luck!

Try Naptha (Zippo lighter fluid) or Acetone. Neither should harm the polyester but will cut through the crud.
