To clean a horses coat you need to first use a rubber curry comb in a vigorous circular motion, starting at the top of the neck right behind the head and working your way over the entire body. Next you should use a medium stiff brush to sweep the heavy dirt and debris away with short firm flicking strokes. After that you should use a 'Flicker' brush and sweep the horses coat with it. Finally a soft body brush will add a nice polish to the coat.
