I would try a good quality carb. cleaner.
If that does not work you may have to take it to a dealer for cleaning.
CHECK THE GROUND ON YOUR MOTOR, NEEDS TO VERY CLEAN AND TIGHT.
Check to make sure your battery's charged up and the connections are all clean. If that's the case, then your starter's probably showing its first signs of laying down. Same thing went on with my Prelude, ended up just putting a new starter on it.
Check your cables for corrosion; if there is any, clean them or replace them. Clean the connections at the starter and clean all grounding wires; test the starter regardless if you think it is good. Clean the battery terminals.
Hey Josh==Clean the battery cables first on both ends. Then check the starter solonoid. Also make sure there is a good ground between the engine and the body. GoodluckJoe
You get a vacuum cleaner and clean it
load check the battery if not that clean the starter, clean the housing where the starter mount's,clean the battery connection's, do a voltage drop and chek 4 unwanted resistance if you cant do that take it to a shop and leave it to the pro's
The regular maintenance of a starter is what is referred to cleaning the starter. When cleaning a motor it should be disassembled and cleaned using oil.
you have to take out the carburetor and then clean it
how do you get to the carborator and then whats the process to clean it.
Take it to a mechanic..;)
yes Gasoline is not a safe cleaner.
Check the battery first to see if it is fully charged. If it is, clean the battery posts off. After doing this if it will not start, then suspect the starter is defective.
