Initially , water, which will dilute the acid.

You can add powdered chalk , calcium carbonate'. This will neutralise the acid to its salt.

e.g. H2SO4 + CaCO3(chalk) = CaSO4(salt) + H2O +CO2

Note all the acid has gone.
