How do you clean your Whirlpool Duet washer?

This seems to be a major problem with the Duet front loading
washer. It looks like a design flaw in the pump that doesn't empty
properly. There are some useful tips from contributors on how to
solve the problem.
- Order> AP4320043 (TJ120) Affresh washer cleaner for front
load 1 @ $6.49 This contains 2 big tablets & used once a month
as directed it clears the old water/ mold order out.
- Periodically wipe down the seals with Simple Green or vinegar.
Replace the moldy gasket around the tub and door.
You can get parts & directions to do this at Appliance
pros.. I found them by accident about a year ago & have used
them 3 times to repair my washer & once to replace a part on my
dryer.
