yes no matter what a riding hat should always be worn while riding a horse as if they get spooked they will rear or kick (usually) and you could end up with severe head damage or even death if not wearing a hard hat.
Rabbit fur hats can be purchased on Amazon and Fur Hat World. One can also purchase faux fur versions from ASOS though they are seasonal. Alternatively one could look on eBay for fake or the real thng.
protect your head with a riding hat
um keep your hands warm, clean and protected
Dirt can trap dampness, so leaving dirt caked onto riding equipment such as leather saddles and straps can eventually cause them to rot. So keeping horse riding equipment clean will prolong its life.
With a jockey skull cap riding hat the outer shell of the hat is made of plastic and obviously the silk you put over is a fabric. The inside of the hat and the inside of most horse riding hats is made up of a lot of polystyrene usually tightly compressed to give maximum protection. Hope this helps if you want any other info on hats i no quite a bit so just ask.
not unless you are riding the horse, but i would suggest not to over work the horse, and to clean the horse once you have finished riding and taking off all tack, and to let it have a break.
