How do you cleanse your soul?

The question should be re-written, "how do you cleanse your soul from sin?" No man really knows what sin is until he or she has been chosen by Christ unto salvation. Then the full force of the words "cleanse", "soul", and "sin" hits full-force. The evidence that I am delivered from sin is that I know the real nature of sin in me. And that is revealed by God. John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John 15:3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. 1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. Ephesians 1:7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; Matthew 26:28 For this is my blood of the New Testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. The cleansing of the soul (salvation) of Christ is the magnificent thought of God,and not man's. Any individual who is cleansed from sin and into a justified state was by pure mercy,and not by his own hand: Romans 3:23--For all have sinned,and come short of the glory of God. That one is "justified freely by his grace, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus" (Romans 3:24). We are not only made alive by Christ, but we live by Christ. If any of us understand God's Word at all, we know God has cast the order of our salvation into a method that is far different from working for it or wishing for it. It is a method of grace, but never our own grace.Rather,it is God's divine grace that has cleansed souls.

Repent of your sins and learn from your mistakes. We are free moral agents. We can distinguish between right and wrong,but we are not independent of god. Because he is our creator he knows what is best for us and how we can benefit ourselves.

To seek spiritual purity one must practice piety. It depends upon your past deeds for how long will it take to get spiritually purified.

In ancient Greek days you would usually let rain water into a bath tub and ''purify yourself'' by bathing in it. But before every purification you had to bathe in a regular bath to get all of the germs off of you before you get into the purified one.

You can't purify you soul. Only Jesus can. 1John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
