Hello, In Order to Rewrite the CD, Nero or you can Enable Recording by right cliking on the drive, > Properties> Recording tab Enable. OR U require Sonic, with DLA option, which can allow you to delete files from the CD-RW
A CD-R can only be written on once, to rewrite or erase old data to use the disc again you need a CD-RW

If the CD is a CD-R it is only "Writable," and cannot have songs added to it after its initial burn. If the CD is a CD-RW you should be able to "Rewrite" songs onto the CD and reburn them.
The CD has to be CD-RW to be able to delete whats on the disk and add something new.
