CD-RW
The DVDs that you can rewrite many times are a DVD-RW and a DVD+RW. You can also rewrite a DVD-RAM more than once.
Rewrite is a record function, a dvd player is just that, a player.
You are unable too, DVD+R = Write once. DVD+RW= up to 1000 times rewriting. Hope that helps.
A DVD-R is a DVD that is writable only once, but a DVD-RW is one that you can write to multiple times, with each rewrite the size decreasing somewhat.
A DVD-R can only have data written to it once. The data cannot be erased or overwritten.Write-once DVD-R or CD-R can now be rewritten (only in Windows 7). Just format the disc into UDF file system; or, upon inserting a blank disc in the burner, Just choose LIKE A USB FLASH DRIVE among the 2 options, then format it.Full tutorial can be found athttp://mykenguerra.blogspot.com/2011/10/how-to-rewrite-on-dvd-r-and-cd-r.html
There is no limit to how many times a DVD-RW can be used, but quality may diminish with multiple uses.
All blank DVD's will work however those with rewirteable can be erased and reused later on.
Rewritable discs, such as DVD-RW, DVD+RW, CD-RW, and BD-RE, can typically be rewritten between 1,000 to 1,000,000 times, depending on the type and quality of the disc. Most commonly, DVD-RW and CD-RW discs are rated for around 1,000 rewrite cycles. However, factors like storage conditions and usage can affect their lifespan. Always refer to the manufacturer's specifications for precise information.
yea its just a more new generation DVD It is the size of a DVD, but it is able to contain many times the information as on a DVD and it is not a DVD. It will not play on a DVD player.
Generally speaking , the max times of chaning region code for DVD drive is 5
The "RW" in DVD-RW stands for ReWrite. It works like a flash drive. You can save data to a disc, delete the data and save to the disc again.
Disadvantage of DVD RW It is very useful sometimes. But this RW disks may be damaged easily and we unable to Rewrite more time. DVD RW branded are only in good condition with two or three times burning.
