You need a scan tool to erase the codes.

Alternatively, you can disconnect the battery for a few minutes and then reconnect it. Note that if you do that, the clock and the radio will need to be reset, along with any other memorized settings, and you will need to go through a computer relearn cycle, which could take a bit of driving under various conditions, in order to get back to normal. Note also that doing this just to clear the code is ineffective, as the fault must also be repaired, and that an emissions testing station will be able to tell that you recently did a reset, with the result that you will not pass.
