Hi, I have a 2002 Cadillac Seville SLS. I would like to know how to reset the stability system? my message light came on.
I had the same problem, Just disconnect the battery power for 8 seconds, this will reset the computer, then reconnect the battery this should get the message to erase and your AC should work. This worked for me on a 96 SLS. Adam Quiroz
the message road is the computer tower
To reset the "Change Brake Pads" message in a 2001 Cadillac Seville, turn the ignition to the "On" position without starting the engine. Press the accelerator pedal three times within five seconds, then turn the ignition off. Upon restarting the vehicle, the message should be cleared. If it persists, check the brake pad wear sensors or consult a mechanic.
The service stability system message on your 2003 Cadillac CTS usually refers to a problem in your braking system. The problem should be addressed immediately.
The computer that originates a message to send to another computer is called the encoder. The one that receives the message is known as the decoder.

It depends what type of computer you have. Send a message on my message board of what computer it is
An envelope encloses a written message (non-computer).
Does the "Service Stability System" message come up? If so, you probably have a leak in one of the shocks. Warning, the 99 Seville STS has electronically controlled suspension and leveling, the rear shocks and front struts are very expensive to replace.

The service, stability system message, on your 2002 Cadillac Escalade, is a caution to a suspension problem. The suspension should be checked out by a certified mechanic.
