The trick is to avoid the quick so they don't bleed, and it is hard in dark-nailed dogs. Have your vet show you how. Otherwise, just take the amount off you feel comfortable with--and if you clip the quick, you'll know it was too far. (Clipping regularly causes the quick to recede, so there is less risk of bleeding over time if you clip regularly.) You can use a dog stenching product to stop the bleeding if any starts.
Yes, there are specialized nail cutters for pets.
no tiger do not clip their own nails but if they are captured, they might be taken by a human to get their nails cut by a vet.
Don't clip your nails

you chew on it with your teeth until it falls off. i no it sounds weird but pro animal caretakers do it or if you have dogs it is just the same way. Get some clippers that you use for yourself (or buy special pet ones) and clip their nails. Just be careful. When you clip your own nails don't you try to clip the white part and avoid the pink? well, same with dogs, guinea pigs, and animals in that nature. so, be careful to not cut the pink or anywhere near that. You have most likely had experience with cutting your nails too short and you know it either hurts or bugs you and it takes awhile to heal. so, be careful.
You should clip your dogs nails only a little bit at a time. There is something called a "quick" in dog's nails. If you cut into the quick then the nail will start to bleed and it will have hurt the dog, to a point to that they dog won't let you clip their nails anymore. If you clip the nails a little bit say once a week, the quick will start to recede, making it safer to clip your dogs nails without hurting them.
In my experience, a dog's nails are just like ours - the 'quick' will be a darker color than the grown nail. Just clip the 'white' portion, being careful not to get too close to the darker 'quick'. If you do, I'm sure your dog will let you know - plus, it will draw blood.
Not actual nails but if you paint them glow in the dark then yes they can
c You could give it something to scratch on or believe it or not, even resort to a cat scratching post. It will stop them from ruining your furniture AND help their nails stay short +they'llhave something fun to do. You could also do nail filerthing'son them or just get thescissors out and give them a clip. But be careful if your dog is a fidget.
most dogs do
