How do you clone Pokemon on platinum?

but if someone you know cloned a Pokemon egg on a dif version of Pokemon, trade the egg onto your game it will be exactly the same but dif gender (lets say its a boy eevee that was cloned, trade the clone,then when it hatches its a girl)

You catch a dito (Femal if other Pokemon is male, or the other way around) and take them to the town with the babysitting place. Then put both Pokemon in the babysitter together they should also have similar personalities (you can check this by clicking the Pokemon and reading their description, it should be near the bottum) once you have a ditto and the other Pokemon with close personalities put them in the babysitter together then to check on them u can talk to the man outside the daycare to see how their doing, if he says they like playing with other Pokemon then each other that means they don't similar personalities and they wont produce a clone. If they do get along the man will tell u that u have an egg (i think) well just check on them once and a while if they get along and the lady will finally tell u they found this egg near your Pokemon.

That is called breeding Pokemon.

to clone a Pokemon on platinum, you will need a ditto. you can catch them after you beat the elite four. it is one of the Pokemon in the trophy garden, you put the ditto with whatever Pokemon you want in the daycare. NOT LEGENDARIES. after about 5-10 min you will get an egg. the egg is the Pokemon you pu in with the ditto.
