Respiratory system in cockroaches is well developed. It consists of Tracheae,Tracheoles and Spiracles.Gaseous exchange occurs by simple diffusion between air in tracheae and dissolved gases in blood or tracheolar fluid which has been shown to rise and fall. The blood in cockroach however do not contain respiratory pigment. :D
