you have to go to the cow and corset in Bowerstone(its the bar that is behind the jewelry stall in the townhall square) and the woman you have to get to love you is in there. the glow trail should lead you to the building and to her. Once you find her just use flirt expressions to get her to fall in love with you and if you bought new clothes and your attractiveness is high this won't take long at all. Once you make her love you, you can either do two things depending upon what player you want to be( good or bad). You could either give her the rejection note and break her heart or you can marry her and make her happy. It's your choice :D. If you marry her you better have money for a house or go work somewhere to get it. I know the quest is early into the game so you won't always have much money. good luck :)
He joins as part of the main story. Just complete the quest and he joins. Seriously if you can't figure that out your a total noob and should never play Fable
In Fable 2, the first part of the archaeology quest can be found in Bower Lake. Look for the Archaeologist near the lakeshore, who will give you your first task to find the missing artifact.
