you have to go to Walmart.. go and pick up a harness conversion kit.. they are like 10 bucks.. or go to any auto store.. then match the colors or lettering of the wires to the new wires on the harness.. it will come with a color diagram as well.. its an easy 10 minute job.

I believe the push button switch for the factory fog lights is in the center stack of your dash , just to the right of the radio , near the bottom of the radio
The factory radio does not have an aux Jack.
the radio needs to be fixed or replaced
I BELIEVE the GEM is in the center stack of the dash , behind or just to the left of the radio in your 2001 Ford Explorer Sport ( can anyone confirm that ? )

if you are talking about an aftermarket radio's amp turn on wire then without an amp you can just cap it off. if the harness used to connect to new radio to your factory wires has a blue antenna/factory amp then you can connect it to that provided the new radio doesnt have a second blue wire for that purpose.
The remote wire on the factory radio in a 2005 F150 Ford Supercrew is usually blue. The remote wire is used to connect extra things to a radio that are not already factory installed.
