Buy a VGA cable for the PS2 off Amazon. It's like £10.
- Make sure your computer monitor has a VGA input. (Usually blue, three rows of pins)
- Get a VGA to RCA converter box (view tips for a cheap one)
- Plug in the RCA cables (Red, White and Yellow) into the box and plug in the VGA.
- If your converter has multiple inputs, make sure you have all the cables under the same number
- Press the corresponding button to activate that RCA to VGA connection and turn on your monitor

∙ 14y agoThe best way is with an HDMI cable from the Back of the PS3 to the back of your HDTV and the HDMI plug slot there. you can also use the cable that came with the PS3. With the cost you will be putting into the system already if your TV is an old one without plug spots in the back go out and buy a TV rather than something to allow hook up of the PS3.
