Once the starter is in the car, look at the back of the solenoid (the little can that's hooked to the big can). There are three connections. One is hooked to the starter. One is a push-on male; that goes to the ignition switch wire. The other is a bolt-on male--13mm nut. Remove the nut, put the lug of the wire to the battery on it, and replace the nut. You can put a lockwasher under the nut if you like, and I always do. Then hook the battery negative back up and put the car back on the ground, and you're done.
