First of all if your Xbox 360 has not got the software update install the disc that came with the adapter and follow the steps until the update is done. Then attach the adaptor itself to back of the 360 and plug it into the rear USB port. Hopefully when you boot up your xbox it will flag up that it has detected your adapter and will ask you if you want to configure it, select yes. Now you have to scan for networks and when your wireless network comes up select it, it will then ask you for either a WPA2, WEP or WPA key. WEP keys are normally big numbers and can be found on the box of your router. The WPA2 key is just the password you made for your router. Once you have out your key in test your connection, if all has worked xbox live should be up and running.
