buy a new truck
remove master switch from door. remove wire harness from back of switch. with a jumper wire brige wires until window raises. then buy new master switch and replace
Somebody was dozy on the assembly line. They connected the loom incorrectly but it's an easy fix. You have to get into the centre console to access the area where the 4 door wires meet at the master control panel. Find the rear passenger door wire by taking turns disconnecting the other wires. Then find the front passenger door wire by the same method. Now pull the other window wires off and connect the wires to the specific switches one at a time until the right switch works the right window. It's all good!
There is no single fuse for one power window. The most common thing is the switch to fail. This would be the master window switch. Try jumping the wires with a live current and see if the window goes up and down. If it does then its your switch, if the motor fails to move most likely its the motor/regulator.
most likely the drivers master switch is bad but befor you replace it check you power and ground wires that connect the door to the body
remove pwer window switch disconnect wires. using another wire, bridge the wires in swith to complete circuit window will go up
Disconnectr the wires from the switch and connect them together
If the correct window was installed ther should be tabs the connect the wires to about half way up on the sides of the window.
Connect all white wires together under a wire nut and push them back into the box. Connect all ground wires together and then connect them with a jumper wire to the ground screw on the switch. Connect black power in and power out, if applicable, wires to the bottom screw on the switch. Connect the remaining black wire going to the light to the top screw on the switch.
how do you know its the switch? does the window (power) move up & down? You can use the other switch from the right or left hand side of the one that works. switch the wires. if the windows work, then its the switch. if the switch doesn't work, then its the window motor.
Short in the window switch . Check for bare wires before ther is a fire...
find the two wires and connect them to a switch
