How do you control monsters in monsters in Minecraft?

Make sure your house is bright and know dark chunks because thats here they spawn. So if you have a dark room with no light, they will come from there and a wall will be good for them getting in around your house

Sadly, you can't. It is locked at whatever you chose the mode to be, and it's only Creative or Survival currently. Survival cannot be put on peaceful, although it hopefully should show up in a future update. (:

You can kill mobs by hitting them with your fists, or with a sword. Swords are crafted with one stick and either two wood, stone, diamond, gold, or iron. In the related links below is a crafting recipe for a sword. It is not advised to go around hitting mobs with your fist, as it is very difficult to kill them with only your fists.

If you are the server host, go to the server.properties file and change 'spawn-monsters:true' to 'spawn-monsters:false'.

If you mean Monsters just turn it to peaceful. but to turn off all mobs you need to type /gamerule mobspawn false. You need cheats enabled on single player to do this.
