You need to Publish/Finish your WMM (Windows Movie Maker) project before you can upload them anywhere. Read this:Publishing/Finishing a WMM project** A WMM project is still in "unfinished" form (.MSWMM)and can only be viewed/edited in Windows Movie Maker.** A PUBLISHED/FINISHED WMM video is the "finalized" format. Before you can view your WMM (Windows Movie Maker) project on a media player, send it by email, or upload it anywhere, you first need to PUBLISH/FINISH the WMM project. This finalizes the project by means of "mixing down" audio/video properties.Note: The videos file name extension (or Properties) will automatically be changed to the .wmv (for computer playback) or other extension depending on the saving option. To Publish/Finish your WMM project:> With your project in the time-line view of WMM> Click on View and Tasks, to open the task pane> Under Publish to ---- (Windows Vista v2.6)> Under Finish Movie (Windows Xp v2.1)> Choose - This computer> Name the movie and select a destination to save it in(Choose/make a folder to save it in that you can access easily)> Click Next> Select option: Best quality for playback on my computer (recommended)> Click Publish or Finish (depending on your WMM version)When the video is published/finished, you should be able to find it in the folder you saved it in. Click on it and it should open up in the media player you use. The file will also be in a format that will allow you to upload it, email it or burn it to CD/DVD.
As long as the videos are in a format compatible with Windows Movie Maker, you can import them from the iPod Nano into the program. File name extensions (formats) compatible with WMM include:.asf, .avi, .dvr-ms, .m1v, .mp2, .mp2v, .mpe, .mpeg, .mpg, .mpv2, .wm, .wmvIf the extension is not one of those listed above, you will need to convert the file to one of them before importing.
A good free program is Youtube Downloader, you download the video THEN convert it to the file format you want. EG - mp3, WMM
Make sure you save the video as a Movie File. Without doing that, it is still a WMM file instead of a playable file.
You have to Publish/Finish your WMM (Windows Movie Maker) project before you can view it, email it, upload it or burn it to CD/DVD.A .MSWMM (MicroSoft Windows Movie Maker) project file can't be viewed/edited anywhere other than in the WMM program.Visit the URL for instructions on Publishing/Finishing your WMM project:http://windowsmoviemaker-how-to.blogspot…
Nope. Can't do that on Windows Movie Maker. Sorry. The program is very basic with limited features and functionality.
Well, depending on if you have a laptop that comes with Windows Movie Maker, then that's a little different. But if you have Windows Movie Maker, open it up. You can add videos, text, transitions, anything you want! When you complete your video, go to the link that says, "Save to my computer". Click it, name the video, choose the folder, and then wait for it to finish. When it's done, you should be able to upload it. Another very good and popular editing software is Sony Vegas. You can download trials off of sonycreativesoftware{dot}com, and the Vegas will expire in 30 days unless you buy it. It IS fairly expensive [300, 400 dollars] but if you go onto YouTube, there are lots of tutorials and keygens availiable. Just be careful which ones you use! Sometimes they ruin your computer! The last software that you can use for free is OneTrueMedia. One True Media is a website [onetruemedia{dot}com] that you can make simple text and slideshow videos with. When you're done, you simply press, "Upload to YouTube" follow the steps, wait for it to finish uploading, and you're done! If you use WMM or SV, then you have to upload directly from the site. Go to the righthand corner of the site where it says UPLOAD. Its in a yellow bar. Click on it, and then select the file you want to upload. Now when it starts uploading, you'll have to wait. But while you're waiting you can edit the title, description box, the tags, category, and privacy status. When it says, "UPLOAD SUCCESFULLY COMPLETED!" and there's a green checkmark, go to My Videos. It SHOULD say Processing, please wait... but if you took a little longer with the description, it might be ready to watch! Glad I can help!! :) Go and check out xoSelenaRayLovatoxo on YouTube! She's provided you with the wonderful advice!!! God Bless!
It's a little tricky. If you use Veoh or Realplayer, you should be able to download supported content and burn it to a disk. Then, if you rip it to windows media center, it should be in your computer files. If you really wanna go the extra mile, you can place it in wmm and create a shortcut to the video. I use the profile ob1benji1 on youtube, and from what I can tell with making videos, it depends alot on if the person who made the video sets it up so that others can use their content.
If yourWMM (windows movie maker) says Publish, then you are using the Vista 2.6 version of movie maker.Only the Xp version allows you to save the movie file by "Finishing" it.No worries though...You can't upload your video to YouTube (or anywhere else for that matter), nor can you view it in a media player, email it or burn it to CD/DVD until you PUBLISH it.Publishing your movie/video is the finalizing phase of your WMM project. The process is a mix-down of video and audio properties. Once you have Published the project, it is finalized. In WMM for Xp, the term Publishing is not used. Instead the process is called "Finishing" the movie.Just remember, you must Publish or Finish your project before it can be viewed, emailed, uploaded or burned.
