You want to SaveAs Formatted Text (Space delimited)(*.prn). You can export only one worksheet at a time, so if you have multiple worksheets you will need to combine them into a single worksheet or export each worksheet separately.
PROCEDURE:
- Highlight the content you want to export from Excel.
- Change the font to Courier (you need to have a fixed length font for this to work).
- Change the column widths to display all cell content on one line, or to the width you want.
- Align all cells to right justify (this will insert spaces to pad the length of each field).
- Select SaveAs and choose Other Formats. From the Other Formats choices, select Formatted Text (Space delimited)(*.prn).
- Choose a location for the file and click SAVE.
