A Floppy Disc (by definition) holds a maximum of 1.44 MegaBytes (1,440,000 Bytes) of data whereas a flash drive starts at 500 MegaBytes 500,000,000 and can hold as much as 8,000 MegaBytes 8,000,000,000 (8GB) of data. ... SIZE .. DOES .. MATTER. :-)
Usually, you will just need to insert the floppies into the floppy disk drive on a computer. If your computer does not have a floppy drive (most made since 2003 don't), you will need to purchase an external floppy drive. These connect to your computer through a USB port. After you plug it in and insert a disk, you should be able to find the drive and view your pictures.
A machine that reads data from and writes data onto a disk. A disk drive rotates the disk very fast and has one or more heads that read and write data. There are different types of disk drives for different types of disks. For example, a hard disk drive (HDD) reads and writes hard disks, and a floppy drive (FDD) accesses floppy disks. A magnetic disk drive reads magnetic disks, and an optical drive reads optical disks.Disk drives can be either internal (housed within the computer) or external(housed in a separate boxthat connects to the computer).

to do this you must first save what ever is on the floppy disc onto your computer or laptop and then transfer the file from the floppy on to an empty CD disc and then it is done
I believe the A: is for a floppy disk
Before networks were invented, the only method of sharing files between computers was through physical media such as floppy disks, CDs, or USB drives. Users would copy the files onto the physical media and physically transfer it to the other computer in order to share or transfer the files.
Of course you can, but do you have any blank disks? Also how large is it, disks may not have enough space for it.
A storage device stores data onto a storage medium. For example a tape backup device writes data onto tape medium
get out of the 1980's that's how
they develop motion pictures onto the disks for us to watch
Well, probably the most obvious disadvantage would be the storage potential. The most common floppy disk has a storage capacity of 1.44MB...this is completely eclipsed by the storage capacity of a single layer DVD-R which usually holds right around 4.7GB. One Gigabyte (GB) is 1024 MB. This makes floppy disks useless for those storing videos or large amounts of pictures. Also, floppy disks are significantly less stable when it comes to long term storage. Because the technology uses magnets to "write" onto the disk it becomes increasingly more corruptible when put into a world littered with microwaves, cellphones, TVs, etc...all of which give off electromagnetic fields. DVDs are physically burned into during the writing process, making them really only corruptible by scratches or significant heat.
