I drive to school and work everyday, and the gas mileage has been wonderful for my 20 minute drive to school. Yes, motorcycles can be dangerous. But just make sure you always wear closed shoes, pants, gloves, and a jacket. Almost all motorcycle accidents aren't the motorcyclist fault, so emphasize how careful you will be.
