Before you ask your parents for an etsy, get organized: plan your product, how you will make it, how much it will cost to make, how much you want to sell it for, how much time it will take, how many you will make........etc. Once you show your parents how organized you are and how responsible you are, they should probably understand. You might annoy them if you are, for example, constantly asking them to buy you supplies, so stay on top of your business. Remember to earn their trust by always showing them what you plan to sell before you post it online. Also, try asking them for advice on how to start a business - they'd probably be thrilled to spend some "quality time" with you. Good luck!
