Slice the squid into rings, dip into flour and shake off the excess, then coat with a light batter and deep fry in hot oil for 1 to 2 minutes, (no longer or they will become tough as rubber), turn out onto kitchen paper to drain excess oil, serve immediately with a slice of lemon...... enjoy.
