You can do it by two way:.
Firstly is by using Outlook - enter all your stuff in there, and then use the included Blackberry CD to sync your laptop with the Blackberry. This is really the prefered way to go as you may want to get off the Pearl and Blackberry in general at some point.
Secondly, by using the Intellisync software on your PC (comes with Blackberry as well) to manage all your contacts on the PC.
Now both of these methods are with the assumption that your old phone can be synchronized in some way with a PC. If there is no way to sync your old phone with the PC - you're SOL.
Without knowing what sort of phone the old model was - there is simply no way to give better advice.

Select the files inside BB Desktop manager and copy/paste these to your desktop or any other folder in your pc. As e files copy across they re converted back to standard jpegs. Done!
