Good luck, have the same problem. Chasing a ghost. This points generally to vacuum. Check the elbow to the pcv valve under the intake past the mass airflow sensor. Mine was sucked colsed from being old. This did not fix the problem completely for me. I eventually got a Ford specific DTC code specifying the fuel pump driver module $120. Runs better still having the poblem when cold. I would not change the O2 sensors because they identify a problem. The codes point to spark, vacuum,or feul. Basically anything under the hood. A ford mech told me I could change every sensor under the hood and still not fix the problem. I have changed the feul filter, cleaned the Injectors, checked the vacuum, checked fuel pressure, the intake. cleaned the mass air flow sensor and am ready to burn the car. Garage in the family for 40 years and currently build helicopters. This one is a bitch. Hope for the elbow I mentioned. Be careful of the radiator hose that goes from radiator to the block. Where the hose splits there is a small hose comming off the top. This hose connects to a small plastic connector that is very easy to break getting to the elbow. It is out of the way enough but if you are not careful it is a $60 hose.
That is a heated O2 sensor.
P0456 EVAP emission control system leak
No, but the temperature senders are part of the emission system. If the thermostat malfunctions, the emission system will not operate at optimum levels.
Trouble code P0455 means: Evaporative Emission System Leak Detected (gross leak/no flow)
evaporative emission control system incorrect puge flow
What does service emission system warning mean on a Ford escape hybrid 2005?
0442 evap emission control system malfunction(small leak detected) 0443 evap emission control system purge control valve circuit malfunction 0450 evap emission control system pressure sensor malfunction 0455 evap emission control system malfunction(gross leak detected) there ya go
there is no carb on a 01 taurus. it is all an efi system

Then you have an emissions system problem that needs to be fixed, or repaired.
They are both part of your emission system
Have vehicle scanned to determine the problem - usually in the emission system Have vehicle scanned to determine the problem - usually in the emission system
