First select the cells you wants to apply border,
Right click there and then select 'Format Cells..' in the new pop-up window
Select the 'Border' tab and choose the outline and inside line patterns.

∙ 8y agoYou could pick the border tool that shows all the borders by clicking on the little arrow beside it to show all the options. You could use the Draw Border facility. You could open the Format options by pressing Ctrl - 1. Then click on the Border tab. The click on the Outline button and then the Inside button. You could also click on the various parts of the sample grid until you have the borders you want. Then click OK.
