How do you create ads in Adobe Photoshop?

Depending on what type of ad, you will probably need HIGH RESOLUTION photo/s, try using scanned or digital photos taken by you. You can find some high res photos online, but photo royalties for Ad usage can get expensive. By using EDIT> Transform, IMAGE>Mode or Adjustments, LAYER>Duplicate Layer or Layer Style, or FILTER>Artistic, Blur, etc. , and look at the different options. There are tons of different ways to get the look you want for a cool Ad. I love using Photoshop Filters, and Photoshop lets you preview first, so try playing around with the different types of filters for a unique look.

Plus in Photoshop you can use Text, and that text can be manipulated by first highlighting your written text then on the second to the top bar you could change, the font style, shape, size, etc. Change the color by double clicking the background or foreground squares near the bottom on the Tools panel "To view Tool panel go to WINDOWS>Tools".

Tip:

Make sure to Duplicate layers "incase you mess-up", and NAME them by double clicking the the name Layer in the Layer Panel. Also turn on or off the eye-ball of your Layer in your Layers Panel. The Layer Panel is located under Window>Layers "I'll give a check mark once selected". Remember EDIT>Undo only lets you Undo a couple of times and even through the History panel under Window>History it will still only allow you to undo or go back up to a certain point, another good reason to make duplicate or copy of layers and turn off the eye-ball "for safe-keepings".
