There is no direct correlation between an archive file and being bootable (an operating system). Many, if not most, archive files do not contain an operating system. Even for those that do, it is essential to know what operating system you are booting to provide useful directions for it.
You need to get a special program from the internet to create a bootable disc. I reccomend IMGburn which can be found at imgburn When you download and install it, run it and choose write image file to disc. Browse to your iso file and click start

You have to have a disc on-hand or do a Google search for an .iso file for the program you need, create an image disc, and then use that disc to install your program using the keycode that you purchase here.

Program is called gburner. From what I've come to understand, gburner is a shareware program that has its own file extension for image files. Not sure what more info you're looking for. Happy hunting.
